The unusual line-up features the strong melodic lead vocals of Mike Rushmore (with his bass drum and washboard anchoring the band), world class lead guitar Jonny Miller, the extraordinarily powerful and evocative mouth harp of Steve Graham, and the rock solid “12-string Tony” providing rhythm.

History of Back Porch

Back Porch’s unique variety of foot-stomping acoustic blues has seen them build a strong following over the last few years. Their music regularly features on local radio and they are becoming well known in the thriving East Anglian live music scene and beyond. A normal set features classics like Crossroads, Bottom of the Sea, As the Crow Flies, Messin’ with the Kid, alongside sparkling originals and intriguing re-workings of more unlikely numbers (e.g. She’s Not There, Hey Joe).
