History of Jerry Criner aka Cryout
Cryout is led by dread-locked Jerry (Cryout) Criner, Whose philosophy is the "Straight and Narrow" road of Reggae with a Funky Twist. Mix together a bit of Blues and Jazz and you have CRYOUT. Most of the original music comes from Jerry's personal experiences, such as one of his newest songs, Galveston Bay.
Other members of the band also help write some of the songs like another new one, Revolutionary Reggae Music. Cryout’s music will bring all but the totally dead to the dance floor. The Reggae Band, Cryout, has performed Nationally for the past 15 + years. Cryout has shared the stage with many other Major Reggae Bands such as Burning Spear, Steel Pulse, Andrew Tosh, Inner Circle, Richard Marks, Sugar Minot, Killer Bees, Boom Shaka, to mention a few.
