Doctrine of Complicity

Doctrine of Complicity, known simply as DoC to their fans, is an Alternative Metal band from the South Coast of the United Kingdom. The five permanent members of the band are MF on vocals, LJ on guitar, GT on guitar, MH on drums & GF on bass, the band also uses a few other musicians and vocalists in their live sets, including Doc on saxaphone & Catherine on vocals.

History of Doctrine of Complicity

Formed in March 2009 as a side project for many of the members, DoC soon found a foothold in the local music scene. Sadly, just before the first gig in November 2009 GT fell from a balcony, breaking his wrist and cracking his pelvis. This put him out of action for five months, and slowed the progress of the band.
GT returned to the band in April 2010 just in time to head to Aberystwyth University in Wales for the Alt May Ball, as one of six bands at the event. For this event DoC had Doc come and play saxaphone with them, making the sound far different to what is normally heard.

Main Influences on Doctrine of Complicity

The many influences of DoC are far too numerous to tell, this is mainly because of the wide age range of the band.
