Driveby Shark are a metal outfit from Chichester in West Sussex.

History of Driveby Shark

Formed in 2008 by 5 friends at Chichester University, Driveby Shark spent several months writing and rehearsing original material. During this time, genres and styles were thrown around and fused together while boundaries were met and broken. With a wide range of influences tossed into the melting pot, a number of songs developed - all featuring the same fundamental features.

After months of rehearsing, Driveby Shark were finally let loose into the university Battle of the Bands. Competing against experienced and very popular bands, Driveby Shark's unique sound, high energy performance and stage presence won the crowd over instantly. The band went on to annihilate the competition in the final and won recording time and a slot at the prestigious university summer ball playing alongside Goldie Lookin Chain. With such quick and sure success, Driveby Shark shifted up a gear and began playing to new audiences with a string of shows along the south coast. Now, armed with a freshly recorded E.P and an ever growing fan base, Driveby Shark are hungrier than ever.
