History of THE FAB COMPANY
The FAB Company began performing in 1969 in nightclubs in Denver, Colorado and released their first album that year. It immediately received exceptional radio and television exposure. Their popularity increased with each subsequent album. The group diversified their efforts into recording commercials & jingles for major production companies and advertising agencies. Frank Bruen left the group in 1978, but the three remaining members performed and record well into the 1980's
Main Influences on THE FAB COMPANY
The FAB Company arrived on the music scene at the tail-end of the "Folk Era"in the mid-60's. Achilles had been influenced by performers and writers like Bud & Travis, Judy Collins, Odetta and others, while Frank Bruen grew up playing 50's and 60's Rock 'n' Roll in a popular rock band in St. Louis. His heroes were singers like Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, and The Everly Brothers. "Achilles & Frank" blended their musical styles to create a unique new blended pop style of their own that was evident later in all of The FAB Company's original music.
