History of Kashabaa
Kasha, a roots rock reggae group from Jamaica,Kasha was formed 1986 by lead singer
Daniel Samuels,and rythem Guitarist Lenworth Henry,they were later Joined by
Keithroy Kika Jackson, drums, James Chance, Bass, Neville Sata-dread Johnson,keys.
In 1991 Kasha signed a distribution deal with Elsondon recording company based in france,
the group toured france later that same year.
.Kasha only remaining member Daniel Samuels now work out of Manchester Uk
kasha has work at the Contact theater,the Bob Marley Festival in Manchester and Prince Marley and urban Promotions.
'Kasha' working on debut album

Kasha is a symbol of black people's struggle as seen
through their music.
Lead singer Daniel Samuels said the name is taken from
the kasha Makka Tree,found here in Jamaica.
Kasha is a recording and performing group consisting
of five members,since coming onto the music seen
in 1988,the group has enjoyed playing at such venues as
The Place Royal Ripon Road,at Excelsior High School's
Bar-BQ and fete in April 1991,performing along such
artistes as the legendary D.J. Tiger.
The group includes players such as Lenworth
' Natty Fred ' Henry on rythem guitar,one of the
founding members Neville ' Satta Dread ' Johnson
the original bass player for the Titans Band and also
former keyboard player for the Indica Band.
On Drums for Kasha is Keithroy' Kika ' Jackson,
formally of the group Abyjah from the St Thomas
Virgin Islands,Glenford Peterkin on bass
Daniel Samuels on lead vocals and rythem guitar
Garth 'Ainsly' Ainsworth also on keys.
The group's wrote and produced their first album called
"Reincarnation",Kasha is currently working on a new
album called "Drop It",which will be released in August
The group has released a single in April entitled "World Power".
which deals with the conflicts the world is facing.
World Power was written by Courtney 'Barry' Liston
and arrange by Kasha.
