History of REALLY REAL

Really Real is the stage name of Ramses Mwagalwa, a rapper and song writer from Kinshasa,
DRC who became a ghetto star after the success of his 2006 track Ghetto Blues.
Ramses discovered Hip hop at high school in 2003 influenced by his fellow classmate
and rapper The King Chris.
The same year he started his career in Kinshasa where he was known on the air as Ramses Two
and a year later he joined The King and together they created Wolf Paws.
In August 2006 he was invited by the MPCTU1SIX Crew project to perform on Laden King's side
at the La Pelouse Show in Masina, Kinshasa.
A week later the project clashed and Really Real founded Thug Family with Laden King
which The King Chris, Thug Cesar and Lil Gun joined.
The same year his self-produced record Ghetto Blues led him to collaboration with Irene,
a French Rnb singer, in the song J'irai Chercher which also led to a contract with
DPM Record in 2007.
At his high school, he also created DNIC (Dangerous Niggas In Common) in which he involved
Cashman, Carter, Panthere, leading rappers of his school and Dj CT for Deejaying.
The band was a great success and snatched a contract with Tigo to perform in several
cultural and open day lives powered by Tigo.
His second release under DPM record Money In The Bank (2007), was a hit and Really Real
rose in the rank of young rappers in the radio and Ghetto Lives Rotation.
The same year, his collaboration with Koosnys La Rage in Et Bien Ouais made him discovered
by YSM which requested and financed the entire re-production of the song.
Really Real released Only One Mc in 2008 and embarked on a conflict with seven notorious
rappers who stood against the release of the song which they claimed the rights.
After several violent confrontations and attacks against him, the issue ended in court
in March 2009 in his favor.
Only One Mc was a straight message to haters.
The success of the song led Ramses to a contract with rappers from Central African Republic.
He flew to Bangui with Koosnys La Rage on his side.
But the non respect of the contract agreements made him quit the project and fly back to
Kinshasa three days later.
In 2010 Ramses competed in the Gabao Hip-hop qualification contest at the French Cultural Center to represent his country in Gabon. But the jury criticized Really Real's foul language and
called for the cancellation of his participation.
That same year he was invited by G-Control to rap in a twelve rappers collaboration song
titled Hustler Zone under YSM Production. But Young the artist left the project later on
for personal reasons, as reported by Walid May the project manager.
Two weeks later the 26th of February 2010 Really Real moved to Kampala Uganda
for professional reasons.
The same year he unsuccessfully tried to contact the rapper Navio and get a contract with Navcorp.
On July he got a contract for weekly live performances with CafeCheri Pub and then joined the list in which musician like Jose Chameleone are found.
In december 2010, Ramses won the Best male Artist and Best Live Performer at the USS
( Upcoming Super Star) Award.
Really Real announced that he is working a twenty four mixtapes album and many more surprises
for his fans.
