The lonelyband, the one and only Awkward Rock band, operated for 5 years between early 2002 and the end of 2006. In that time they played more than 50 shows and released 3 acclaimed albums. Farrago, their first release, was an eclectic pop-rock album with darker metallica touches. 2005's Hell is Other People was a darker affair, with a collection of twisted love songs that veer wildly from sensitive to destructive. Every Law But One, released in 2006, was the heaviest lonelyband album, with some of the most intense yet mature songwriting.
The band split after a farewell show in December 2006, but their recorded legacy still shows what an original and progressive creative force they were.
