Hello, we here at the vertigo tarts nerve centre would like to welcome you aboard. You can purchase our groovy LP here, and our Single! I remember singles, they were round, and I’ve still got hundreds of them. If we could have a picture disc as a download we would, a twelve inch one with extra remixes on it. But we cant so this will have to do. It’s awfully cheap and not very long so you should get your little plastic card out and let it do it’s stuff. You will hardly notice the financial strain; a pint could cost you less! And as for the emotional commitment…almost negligible. It’s not like some prog rock epic that you need to sit down and listen to. This LP is ideal for almost any circumstance. Background music, foreground music, middle ground music, kitchen music, car music. It’s not very romantic so I wouldn’t try copping of with the woman of you dreams with Dunlop 65 blaring away in the background/foreground/middle ground. Other than that I heartily recommend this wondrous recording to anyone with twenty or so minutes to spare.

History of the legendary vertigo tarts

All happened not that long ago: I was in a band with him and he was in a band with them and I was also in a band with him but he joined another band and left so we got him who I used to be in a band with and come to think of it so did he. Hope that makes some sense. Not that bothered if it doesn’t. But mainly we did it coz they said we couldn’t. They always do, have you noticed that!

Main Influences on the legendary vertigo tarts

The usual suspects and the mighty Quo and Yes and the Ramones and the Stranglers, oh and loads of Spanish stuff like Rosendo (He’s brilliant), Fito and Fitapaldis (also brilliant), Andres Calamaro (stunnnning), Barricada (wow!) and the very wonderful Alice Cooper and Cheap Trick and you’d think with a 14 year old guitarist we could come up with something young and trendy but he listens to Quo all the time! Hang on I saw “Cast” last week, they were great, so retrospectively they probably influenced us. Oh and I like Richard Thompson too. And Mud, and Mott The Hoople, and all that stuff……Zappa.
