Vic says “ Hi, I’m Vic Holdroyd a professional songwriter from Yorkshire, England. I have been a musician since my teens and having now stopped gigging I have been able to devote more time to composing new songs.
I write songs that appeal to mature adults with strong storylines rather than simple pop ditties for kids. Although like most musicians and composers I don’t really like being pigeon-holed in any particular niche , it would be right to say that a lot of my songs have a ‘country’ feel and I have also found that others appeal to the Irish market, so I have gone with the flow and kept writing songs in these styles.
